December 12th is the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This feast is very special to The Hubs and me because it was on this day that God lead him back to the East Coast after living in California for several years. Eight months later, we met, and the rest is history! To learn more about Our Lady of Guadalupe, go here.
I absolutely love it when some catholic genius comes up with a product like this! I ordered four of these beautiful craft kits for the three older children and I to make together on December 12th. These will be lovely little shrines for next to their beds, don’t you think? Something meaningful to make for the feast that won’t get thrown away, but will be treasured. That’s my kind of craft!
And, of course, some read aloud books for quiet time or bedtime.
This last one is not necessarily a story about Our Lady of Guadalupe, but it is set in Mexico and has an Advent/Christmas theme, so it would be appropriate.
And I sure do hope that my little Juanito will put on his All Saints’ Day costume for this special feast!
