Nester Christmas Tour of Homes 2012

DEC2012 012 EDITED 2

Welcome!  So glad you’re here.

Come on in!

The coffee’s brewed, the fire’s on, and the Christmas Tunes are playing.

Remember this one, Nester?  Oh, how I love this door on the wall trick.

This is where we’ll enjoy Christmas Eve dinner after we go to Church.

Our living room, where most of our most treasured family memories have taken place.

A stocking for Jesus.

Our beloved Nativity Scene from Germany … Hand-picked, piece by piece, by my dear Brother-in-Law.

DEC2012 017

Our favorite reading-snuggling-napping spot.

DEC2012 065

Narcissus and Amaryllis, sprouting up.

DEC2012 048

This is where the children will scarf down their Christmas morning breakfast while The Hubs and I sip our coffee among the torn wrapping paper and untied bows.

DEC2012 059

The view of our family room from the kitchen.  Ahhhh.  So peaceful at Christmas.

DEC2012 062

Me’thinks if I don’t hide these little chocolate St. Nicks, they will be gone by tomorrow!

DEC2012 040

This back porch is my view from the kitchen island.  Since I spend so much time there, I thought I’d pretty it up for the holidays.  A space heater would make this the perfect spot to have drinks with friends!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Love it all, such beautiful decorating. The reading spot is my absolute fave and I think I see a few wall deco ideas I may just have to “steal” for OUR home 😉 Blessings and Happy Advent, Merry Christmas!!

  2.  Oh my gosh by golly see the rooms with holly and the warmth created for our grandchildren, their father and relatives and friends by my creative daughter, friend and woman I admire.  Love, love the plates.   X  I wish there was a heart key!   Grah
