Dimples wore a beautiful necklace and barrette from my brother, Chris. He did some missionary work on the Rocky Boy Reservation with the Chippewa Cree Native Americans in the late ’70s. The necklace and barrette were handmade by the Indian Women as gifts to our family. What a special thing for Dimples to wear with her St. Kateri costume!
This morning, we enjoyed a feast day breakfast in our dining room. I love getting out all the fancy china and glassware. It’s just a little way to show the children that today is a special day for us as Catholics.
Happy Feast of All Saints, dear readers. May your Patron Saints intercede for you all the days of your life!
